Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes Echo-9 Shared Services Ltd's slavery and human trafficking statement for the current financial year.

1. OUR COMMITMENT

Echo-9 Shared Services Ltd ('we', 'us', or 'our') is committed to acting ethically and transparently in all business dealings. We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking, and we are committed to implementing and maintaining effective systems and controls to ensure that these practices do not occur within our operations or our supply chains.

We support the UK Government's objectives to eradicate modern slavery and view compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 as fundamental to upholding human rights and maintaining professional integrity.

2. ORGANISATION STRUCTURE AND SUPPLY CHAINS

Echo-9 Shared Services Ltd is a private limited company registered in Scotland (SC853280), providing shared services including IT, administrative, and consultancy support to various sectors. Our operations are primarily UK-based.

Our supply chain includes providers of IT infrastructure, office equipment, software services, and professional consultancy. We predominantly procure goods and services from UK and EU-based vendors, where there is a lower risk of modern slavery. We do not currently engage significantly with high-risk international suppliers in industries such as manufacturing or low-skilled logistics.

3. POLICIES ON SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING

We maintain robust internal policies to prevent modern slavery, including:

• Code of Conduct: Setting high standards for ethical behaviour, transparency, and lawful conduct for all employees and directors.
• Whistleblowing Policy: Encouraging staff to report any concerns regarding modern slavery or other unethical practices without fear of retaliation.
• Safer Recruitment: Conducting thorough "right to work" checks and due diligence on all candidates to ensure compliance with labour laws.
• Safeguarding & Ethics: Ensuring all team members are aware of and committed to identifying and reporting risks of abuse or exploitation.

4. DUE DILIGENCE AND RISK MANAGEMENT

To identify and mitigate the risks of modern slavery in our supply chain, we carry out the following actions:

• Assessing potential suppliers' professional reputations and commitment to ethical conduct during the procurement process.
• Including modern slavery compliance clauses in our commercial contracts where appropriate.
• Monitoring our primary suppliers to ensure they maintain standards equivalent to our own.
• Promoting a culture of awareness where any suspicious activity can be flagged and investigated promptly.

5. CONFIRMATION

To the best of our knowledge, modern slavery and human trafficking do not occur within our organisation or our supply chains. We remain vigilant and are committed to continuous improvement in our processes to ensure we remain a safe and ethical partner for our clients and suppliers.
